Parade day at a glance

One morning. Whole town.

    Entry check-in opens

    Registration table at the Wall Co-op Gin. One person per entry checks in and gets your line-up number.

  2. 9:00a.m.

    Veterans report

    Veterans riding the Veterans Float meet at the Wall Co-op Gin registration area.

  3. 9:45a.m.

    Last call for entries

    Entries are accepted until 9:45. Bring your form and entry fee.

  4. 10:00a.m.

    Step off!

    The parade heads west down Loop 570 from the Wall Co-op to Wall High School.

    The inflatable & mascot dash

    Mid-parade, anyone in an inflatable or mascot costume races to the finish. No rules.

    Lunch, auction & awards

    Right after the parade at the Saint Ambrose Parish Hall: hamburger lunch, silent auction and awards for the best entries.

Every single year

Thank you, veterans.

The heart of our parade is the Veterans Float, carrying the men and women who served while the whole town stands, waves and cheers. If you served, we would be honored to have you ride.

The route

Co-op to the high school.

The parade starts at the Wall Co-op, heads west down Loop 570, and ends at the entrance of Wall High School, just before the Wall Post Office.

Parking: Saint Ambrose Catholic Church, Ole Gin Steakhouse, Wall Brethren Church and Wall ISD.

The great inflatable & mascot dash

Got a blow-up T-rex suit? A mascot head in the closet? Midway through the parade, anyone wearing an inflatable or mascot costume can sprint, waddle or bounce to the finish line. There are no rules. There is only glory.

Proceeds benefit the Wall Volunteer Fire Department.

The Wall 4th of July Parade Association is a volunteer-run non-profit. Entry fees, sponsorships and donations benefit the Wall VFD and keep this parade rolling year after year.
